Con los Reyes

Este año los Reyes y Papás Noel han estado en el Centro Cultural y nosotros hemos tenido que ir a verles y cantarles allí nuestros villancicos y canciones de Navidad. También les hemos hecho nuestras peticionespara el Nuevo Año.
Ellos nos han dado un regalo a cada clase y chuches para cada niño.
This year the Kings and Santas have been at the Cultural Center and we had to go and see them there and sing our Christmas carols. We have also made our requests `for the New Year. They have given us a gift to each class and goodies for each child.

El viernes pasado los alumnos de sexto hicieron un festival para los niños de infantil y primero. Con máscaras y disfraces interpretaron varias canciones de los Cantajuegos y algunas otras en inglés. Los peques se lo pasaron en grande y también bailaron y cantaron algunas de las canciones. Al final todos grandes, pequeños y profes cantaron y bailaron "Soy una Taza"
Last Friday, the sixth graders did a festival for infants and first gradersd. With masks and costumes, performed several songs from the Cantajuego and some others in English. The kids had a great time. They also danced and sang some songs. In the end all the big ones, the small ones and teachers sang and danced "I am a mug"

Alumnos de cuarto han representado la obra: "Jacinta la estrella aventurera". Han hecho un total de cuatro actuaciones, el viernes para los padres y el lunes para todo el colegio. Además de sus grandes dotes como actores hay que destacar la escenografía y el vestuario.
Fourth graders have represented the play: "Jacinta adventurous star". They have made a four performances: for parents on Friday ,andfor the whole school on Monday . In addition to his great gifts as players we must mention the scenery and costumes.

Uso del ordenador en el aula

Hasta los más pequeños del cole trabajan con el ordenador en la clase. Están aprendiendo a manejar el ratón y algunos ya son verdaderos expertos.

Los mejores christmas

Estos cuatro son los christmas ganadores del concurso del colegio. Los han hecho Sheryl Cosmi de 4ºA, Laura Martín(5ºC) Carlota Torres (2ºB) y Leyre Martín (6ºB). "El paisaje con casa y muñeco de nieve" se ha seleccionado por su colorido para enviar como felicitación a las familias y los otros han inspirado el cartel de Navidad del cole.
Ha sido una difícil elección pues ha habido muy buenos trabajos. El resto de los christmas finalistas, tres por curso los podéis ver en el álbum Christmas09.
These four are the christmas cards winners at the school. They have been done by Sheryl Cosmi 4 º A , Laura Martin (5 º C) Carlota Torres (2 º B) and Leyre Martin (6 º B). "The house and landscape with Snowman" has been selected for their color to be sent as the greeting to the families and the other cards have inspired the Christmas poster for school. Cartel de Navidad

Este es el cartel que presidirá el hall del colegio durante los días de Navidad. Ha sido realizado por alumnos y profes del tercer ciclo y está basado en dos de los christmas ganadores de nuestro concurso.
This is the lineup who will chair the school hall during the Christmas season. It was done by students and TEACHERS of the third cycle and is based on two of the winners of our contest christmas.

Una clase en Bicicleta

Los alumnos de sexto recibieron ayer miércoles una clase muy práctica. En el polideportivo de Aluche algunos agentes de la Policía Municipal les explicaron las normas de educación vial, sobre todo, las relacionadas con la circulación en bicicleta. Después estuvieron toda la mañana montando en bicicleta llevando a la práctica lo que les habían enseñado.

Se lo pasaron muy bien y algunos que no sabían, aprendieron a montar.

On wednesday the students of 6th grade recieved a training class about traffic education in the sport centre of Aluche. Once there some traffic police officers explained the different traffic rules,

We also learned how to circulate with a bike on streets. After that we were all morning riding bikes putting into practice what we have learned.

They all had a good time, and some who didn't know to ride a bike, learned how to ride for the first time.

Ayer se celebró en el parque Pradolongo el "cross de la amistad" en el que hemos participado como colegio con 103 alumnos. Los de segundo ciclo corrieron 800 m. y los de tercer ciclo 1300m.
Yesterday was held at the park Pradolongo the cross of friendship "in which we participated with 103 students. The second cycle ran 800 m. and the third cycle run 1300m.
Además del éxito por la participación y el esfuerzo realizado por los nuestros, este año hemos conseguido dos primeros puestos: Ana Patricia (5º) y Christian(6º) ; un segundo: Víctor (6º); dos terceros: Inés (3º) y Marta (5º) y tres cuartos: Yaiza(6º) Nieves (3º) y Rubén (5º).
In addition to success with participation and the effort of ours, this year we won two first places: Ana Patricia (5th) and Christian (6th), a second Victor (6th), two third : Agnes (3rd) and Marta (5th) and three quarters: Yaiza (6th) Nieves (3rd) and Ruben (5th).

Una más en el cole

"Nuestro profesor Jose ha tenido una niña llamada Iria , nació el 14 de noviembre a las seis menos cinco de la tarde . Es la primera sorpresa de este año para todos nosotros. Jose, el tutor de 5ºC y profesor de segundo de primaria de inglés y science está encantado con su hija de dos semanas, es decir, de quince dias. Los de su clase le hemos regalado un pijama, unos patucos, un muñeco y una postal que hemos firmado y hemos puesto una dedicatoria cada uno, incluido los profesores Miriam y Blas". (Laura y Miriam)

Alumnos de tres años, después de escuchar el cuento de "Elmer y sus amigos" han dibujado su propia versión del cuento y les ha quedado así de bien .

El huerto también en invierno

Durante la tarde, en una clase práctica en el huerto escolar, los niños de Tercero han aprendido sobre la relación de las plantas y los frutos que comemos. Para esta sesión especial, uno de los jardineros del huerto llamado Alberto ha respondido a las preguntas que los niños tenían preparadas sobre las plantas y les ha mostrado como se deben plantar los plantones de espinacas y acelga".

This afternon the students on the 3rd grade have been learning about the relation of plants and food with a practical session in the School Garden. For this special ocassion, one of the gardeners called Alberto, has been answering the pupil's questions about plants and has showed them how the seedlings of the spinach and the Swiss chards must be planted.

Cuenta cuentos en Infantil

Hoy (lunes 23 de Noviembre) hemos ido al teatro del cole y nos ha contado un cuento un payaso. Han aparecido algunas marionetas y una bruja. A algunos nos ha dado un poco de miedo la bruja y no hemos querido verlo, pero a la mayoría nos ha gustado mucho. Al final la bruja se ha convertido en buena.

Today (Monday the 23rd of November) we went to the school theatre and we heard a story about a clown. There were some puppets and a witch. Some of us were a bit scared of the witch and did not want to see her, but the majority of us liked it very much. At the end, the witch turned good.

Día Universal de los niños

Con motivo del día universal de los niños y del aniversario de su Declaración de Derechos que se celebró el viernes día 20 de Noviembre, los alumnos de 6º B han hecho este video- presentación.
With motivation from the universal day of children, and the anniversary of its declaration of rights which is celebrated Friday the 20th of November, the students of 6º B made this video-presentation.

Arturo y Clementina

Quinto y Sexto han estado viendo una obra de teatro sobre la igualdad entre hombre y mujer. De manera divertida han reflexionado sobre lo negativo del machismo.

"La obra iba sobre dos tortugas (Clementina y Arturo) que se conocen y se van a vivir juntas. Arturo siempre decía lo que Clementina tenía que hacer y no le dejaba hacer lo que deseaba como pintar, tocar música y hacer malabares. Y luego para alegrarle le daba regalos inútiles. Ella un día se escapa de allí y se va a otra isla.Los actores eran Marta y Rafa del grupo Tor Teatro".

The fifth and sixth grade went to see a play about the equality between men and women. From a fun point of view they should us the negatives of chauvinism.

The play is about two turtles (Clementina and Arturo) who know each other and live together.

Arturo always told Clementina what to do and never let her do the things she wanted to do, like paint, play music and juggling. After to make her happy he give her some useless presents. One day she escapes and goes to another island. The actors were Marta and Rafa from the Tor Teatro group.

Érase un día, una poesía

Los alumnos de cuarto han participado en un concurso de poesía organizado por el círculo de Jóvenes Escritores. Estas son algunas de las poesías enviadas.

En la laguna "El Campillo"

El pasado martes 17 de Noviembre los alumnos de 3º de Primaria fuimos de excursión a la Laguna de El Campillo. En este agradable entorno natural caminamos por los alrededores de la laguna mientras aprendíamos las particularidades de este lugar y los seres vivos que aquí habitan.Las dos monitoras que nos guiaron en esta salida nos contaron que donde ahora está la laguna antes había campos y cultivos. Sin embargo, la acción de las excavadoras sacando gravas para la construcción hizo que se formara un gran agujero, que más tarde se lleno de forma natural con agua subterránea. Algunos árboles que vimos fueron olmos, sauces y pinos. También vimos arbustos como el romero, algunas flores y plantas herbáceas como el cardo. Por otra parte, vimos animales como conejos, mariposas, patos “cuchara” y gaviotas. Además, aprendimos que podemos identificar la presencia de otros animales observando sus huellas, sus excrementos, las madrigueras y los pelos y las plumas que se les caen.
En resumen, nos lo pasamos muy bien y estamos muy agradecidos a todos los que han colaborado en la organización de esta excursión. El martes los alumnos/as de 3º estuvieron en el Aula de la Naturaleza de la laguna "El Campillo"

Last Tuesday, 17th November 2009, the students on the 3rd grade of Primary Education went in a field trip to the Laguna de El Campillo. On this natural environment we walked around the lagoon enjoying and learning about the features of this beautiful place and their inhabitants.The two monitors that guide us during the visit told us that the lagoon was long before a countryside area with just fields and crops. However, the action of the excavators extracting gravel from the area resulted on a very big hole that was naturally filled with groundwater with the consequence of the formation of a lagoon. We could observe elm trees, willows, pine trees, rosemary bushes, thistles, etc... Moreover, we could see animals such as rabbits, butterflies, ducks and seagulls. Finally, we learnt that we can know about the existence of other animals in the natural environments by examining their footprints, excrements, warrens and their fur and feathers.
We had a very good time and we are all very grateful to the people that has organized this excursion.
