Si has estado el día del libro en el colegio te proponemos que accedas al album de fotos de ese día y que te busques entre todos los que están leyendo.
If you've been on the book day at school we suggest you enter the album of photos from that day and get yourself all those who are reading.

El viernes fue el día del libro y con él cerramos una semana en la que hemos hecho un montón de actividades relacionadas con los libros. En el hall estuvimos todos leyendo. Nos juntamos de dos en dos niveles, 6º con 3 años, 5º con años y así sucesivamente. Después de leer cada uno en nuestro libro, los de los cursos mayores les leyeron cuentos o recitaron poesías a los más pequeños.
Last Friday was the day of the book and we ended a week in which we have done a lot of activities related to books. In the hall we were all reading. We joined two by two levels, 6th with 3 years, 5 years and so on with. After reading each one our book, the oldest graders read stories or recited poetry to the youngest children.

Día del libro. Ciclo 2

Durante esta semana los de 3º han hecho el taller de animación a la lectura "Dime con quien andas" en la biblioteca de Orcasur y el taller de igualdad en las clases. Como trabajos han hecho: un mural de las películas favoritas y otro de cuentos populares y un libro de refranes además del de taller de cuentos.

En 4º han hecho un libro de poesías, otro de contar y un panel con una frase para cada preposición.

During the week the 3rd year children have made the reading animation workshop "Tell me with whom you" in the library and a workshop of gender equality in the classroom. Several jobs have been made: a mural of favorite movies and other folk tales and a proverbs book in addition to the worshop abaut stories. In 4th grade they have made a book of poetry, another to count and a panel with a sentence for each preposition

Día del libro. Ciclo 1

Los niños de 1º han hecho un libro de poesías, otro con sus cuentos y personajes favoritos y han trabajado el cuento "The Ugly Duckling"

En 2º Han hecho un libro de poesías en inglés y otro de poesías en castellano y también han trabajado el cuento "The Ugly Ducling"

Entre todos los del ciclo han escrito el cuento "Las aventuras en el castillo misterioso".

1st year children have made a book of poems, short stories and another with their favorite characters and have worked the story "The Ugly Duckling"
2nd year students have made a book of poems in English and another one in Spanich and have also worked the story "The Ugly Ducling"
Among all of the cycle have written the story "The Adventures in mysterious castle."

Día del libro en Infantil

Los niños de infantil han hecho libros gigantes con cuentos que han escrito ellos o que han contado sus papás en la clase. En todas las clases han estado haciendo cuentos dibujos, dramatizaciones y en algunas clases han hecho también marcapáginas de madera.
Durante la semana muchos papás y mamás vinieron a contar cuentos a las clases. En el blog de 3 años nos cuentan sus impresiones.
The infant children have made giant book with stories they have written or their parents have told in class. In all classes have been doing drawings, stories, dramas, and in some classes have also made wooden bookmarks. During the week many dads and mums came to tell stories to the children. On the blog three years tell us their impressions.

Día del libro. Ciclo 3

"Esta semana en 6º hemos hecho unos micro relatos bilingües por el día del libro.Hemos hecho un libro con 39 microrelatos en total acompañándolos con dibujos. Hemos dado una copia del libro a la biblioteca del cole.

"This week we´ve done some bilingual flash stories in 6º grade because of the book day.We have done a book with 39 in total.accompained by a picture.We gave a copy of the book to the school library.

En 5º hemos hecho "El gran libro de Quinto" con comics, poesías, trabalenguas y trabajos en inglés sobre escritores ingleses."

The 5th year students have done "The 5th year big book" including some comics, poems, tonguetwisters and works in English about some English authors.

The ugly duckling

El lunes los alumnos del primer ciclo vieron la obra de teatro en inglés "el patito feo". Rechazado por su famili el patito feo busca un lugar donde las diferencias sean aceptadas y pueda ser feliz. Tuvieron la mejor clase sobre tolerancia.

Last Monday 1st and 2nd year students watched the play in English "The Ugly Duckling" Rejected by his family, the ugly duckling searches for a place where differences are accepted and he can be happy. We’re going to study the best lesson about tolerance.

Botánica en el Pradolongo

"El pasado lunes los niños y niñas de quinto fuimos al jardin botánico de Pradolongo.Hicimos una ginkana por todo el jardin bótanico con unos sobres que nos decían algunas pistas de las plantas que teníamos que examinar. .."con información que luego rellenabamos según lo que habiamos visto. vimos muchos perros bonitos.

Last Monday the children of 5º went to the botanical garden of Pradolongo park. We did a gimkana around the park with some envelopes which gave us some clues about the plants to be examined... "

Talleres "Construyendo la Igualdad"

Varios días de este mes alumnos de 3º y 5º realizarán en sus clases un taller sobre Igualdad de Género.
Several days this month students in the 3rd and 5th in class conducted a workshop on Gender Equality
El martes empezaron en 3º:
"Los monitores nos han enseñado a diferenciar entre comportamientos de BUEN TRATO y de MALTRATO. Además hemos aprendido a cómo hacer para transformar el MALTRATO en BUEN TRATO.Una de las actividades que hemos hecho ha sido conocer las diferencias entre los niños y las niñas, aparte de nuestros cuerpos. La conclusión ha sido que.... no hay ninguna diferencia !"

Mamás y papás cuentan cuentos

Con motivo del próximo día del libro: el 23 de abril, durante esta semana y la próxima algunas mamás y papás están viniendo a las clases de infantil a contar cuentos.
At the next Book Day: April 23, during this week and next some moms and dads are coming to the classes of children to tell stories.
"Soy Patricia. Hoy ha venido mi mamá a contar un cuento en inglés, de un mono al que solo le gustan los plátanos. Hemos aprendido nombres de animales y de frutas y nos hemos portado muy bien".
'I am Patricia. Today my mummy came to tell us the story of a monkey who only wants to eat bananas. We have learned some animal and fruit names. We have behaved ourselves very good'.

Taller de Arqueología

EL miércoles y el jueves los alumnos de 6º hicieron un taller de arqueología en el museo de los orígenes de Madrid. Les hablaron de la prehistoria, vieron como se hacía el fuego con dos piedras y como de una piedra se sacaban herramientas para cortar. También manipular distintas herramientas y utensilios de piedra y hueso.

Last wednesday and thursday the sutudents of sixth grade attended a workshop about archeology in the museum of Madrid origins. They were taught about prehistory, saw how fire was made out of two stones and how different kind of tool were made.

they also learn how to manipulate different yepe tools made out of stones and bones.
