MENÚ DE MAYO

San Isidro 2014

Como esta semana no se iba a poder por  los exámenes de inglés, los pequeños celebraron su fiesta de San Isidro el viernes día 9. Por la mañana, en el patio, hicieron una ginkana de juegos populares: la gallinita ciega, la zapatilla por detrás, ratón que te pilla el gato, el escondite inglés, etc... Después tomaron barquillos y zumo. Y para terminar bailaron el chotis.
En la organización ayudaron algunos niños y niñas de 6º.

Exámenes orales de inglés

Durante esta semana se van a realizar los exámenes del Trinity college para 2º, 4º y 5º. Son exámenes orales e individuales que se harán desde las 9 de la mañana hasta más allá de las 4 de la tarde, por tanto en todo el colegio tiene que reinar el silencio. Es por ello que durante esta semana no habrá música y tampoco celebraciones de san Isidro.
During this week they are going to take exams from Trinity college for 2nd, 4th and 5th. These exams are individual and oral and they will be from 9 am until past 4 in the afternoon, so the whole school has to be silence. That is why this week there will be no music and san Isidro celebrations.

Te Deum de Charpentier

El tema musical de esta semana es muy conocido y va a sonar mucho en  televisión estos días ya que el sábado se celebra el famoso concurso- festival de eurovisión. Es el himno que la unión europea de radiodifusión ha elegido para su sintonía. Pero cuando su autor lo compuso no existían ni la televisión ni la radio. Fue entre 1688 y 1698.

Marc Antonie Charpentier  compuso para la iglesia este tedeum que se ha hecho mundialmente famoso.
The musical theme this week is well known and it will sound much on television these days because of next Saturday the famous Eurovision contest-festival is going to celebrate. It is the anthem that the European Broadcasting Union has chosen for his tune. But when the author wrote it there was neither television nor radio. It was between 1688 and 1698. 
Marc Antoine Charpentier composed for this tedeum church that has become world famous.

HOMENAJE A NELSON MANDELA

Los alumnos de 4 º de primaria han hecho  un mural en homenaje a Nelson Mandela
¿ Cómo lo han hecho?
1- La fotografía de Nelson Mandela la partieron en 4 y cada niño coloreó con ceras manley su parte.
2- Después hicieron el póster con la bandera de Sudáfrica.
3- Luego lo pintaron con las manos untadas de tempera.
4- Finalmente, unieron todas las fotografías y colocaron una de sus frases más famosas.
       "Siempre parece imposible hasta que se ha hecho.
       "It always seems impossible until it is done.

Lluvia de libros

Como homenaje al libro los alumnos con necesidades educativas y algunos pequeños de cinco años han hecho un montaje titulado "LLuvia de libros" . Libros de cuentos que ellos conocen cuelgan de los techos de la planta baja a modo de grandes gotas de lluvia.
As a tribute to the books, special education students and some 5 year kid have made a montage entitled "rain of books" Storybooks they know hang from the ceilings of the ground floor as large raindrops.

Con motivo del día del libro los alumnos del colegio estuvieron leyendo en el hall del colegio el día 23 y 25. Fue un auténtico maratón de lectura. Los alumnos de 5º y 6º leyeron ininterrumpiadamente capítulos de Platero y yo.
On the Day of the book the school's students were reading in the school hall on the 23rd and 25th. It was a real marathon reading. Students in 5th and 6th chapters read continuously Platero y yo. 
Los alumnos de 4º leyeron a los de infantil el cuento que ellos mismos habían creado "Un día en la vida de Platero". Y los de infantil les contaron su cuento "La princesa Hamster y el duende del arco Iris"
Los alumnos de 3º recitaron y cantaron el poema "Verde que te quiero verde" de García Lorca y el romance del Conde Olinos.
The students of 4th  read to infants the story that they had created "A Day in the Life of Platero". And  infants told them their story "The Princess Hamster and the goblin bow Iris" 
Students in 3rd recited and sang the poem "Green I want you green" by García Lorca and romance of Count Olinos.
