Nuestra nueva bibliotecaria: Yusara

Tenemos una nueva bibliotecaria en la biblio del cole que trabaja por la mañana. Se llama Yusara Rhouni y es madrileña. Tiene 21 años y, estudia 3º de biblioteconomía y documentación. Su hobby es leer. Su libro favorito es "Nada te turbe" . Le gusta todo tipo de música y le encantan los Beatles. También le gusta jugar al tenis en la wii. Le gusta mucho el colegio. Nos ha contado que a la biblio todavía no va mucha gente y, cuando no hay niños, se dedica a pasar los libros al ordenador.

We have a new librarian in the school library who works in the morning. Her name is Yusara Rhouni and she is from Madrid. She is 21 years old. This is her 3rd year studying library and documentation. Her hobby is reading . Her favourite book is "Nada te turbe" . She likes all kinds of music but love The Beatles. She also likes to play tennis on the wii. She loves the school. La historia del siglo XX a través del rock

EL miércoles los alumnos de 5º y 6º vieron el espectáculo "la historia del siglo xx contada atraves del rock" en el Centro Cultural de Orcasitas.
...." La banda que tocaba en directo se llama Los Misterios. Han tocado algunas canciones famosas del siglo XX como: "Smoke on the Water" de Deep Purple, "Rock around the clock" de Bill Haley, "I will survive" de Gloria Gaynor, etc. Las canciones han sido muy divertidas. Todos hemos bailado, saltado, hemos hecho la ola y nos hemos divertido mucho".
Last wednesday the 5thand 6th graders went to the Cultural Centre to see the show "The history of the 20th century through rock music".
...."The band who played live was Los Misterios. They played some famous songs from the 20th century like: "Smoke on Water" by Deep Purple, "Rock Around the Clock" by Bill Haley, "I Will Survive" by Gloria Gaynor, etc... The songs were a lot of fun. We were all dancing, jumping, and we did the wave while having a lot of fun" . (Victor y Leyre).

The new English Assistants

Os presentamos a los auxiliares de inglés para este curso. Son Alejandra, Miguel, Antonia, Alyssa de Estados Unidos y Filip que es de Canadá.

Desde el día uno de octubre están con nosotros ayudando a los alumnos con el inglés.

En la granja "El Acebo" - At the farm "El Acebo"

Todos los niños del Primer Ciclo han ido a la granja escuela "El Acebo". Unos el lunes y otros el miércoles. Lo pasaron muy bien: vieron animales, hicieron magdalenas, aprendieron cosas de las plantas y subieron a caballo.

Every boy and girl of first and second grade went to the farm "El Acebo". One on Monday and the other on Wednesday. They had a great time: they saw animals, made cakes, learned things about plants and went horseback riding.

Préstamo de libros - Taking out books

A partir del día 15 de Octubre todos los alumnos del centro podrán sacar libros de la biblioteca. El horario de préstamo y devolución será todos los martes y jueves de 16.00 a 17.00.
El préstamo sera por siete días pudiendo renovarse otros siete. En caso de no devolución o deterioro el alumno deberá reponer el ejemplar por otro de la misma edición.

Since the 15th of October all students of the school will be able to take out books from the library. The schedule of taking out and returning the books will be every Tuesday and Thursday from 4:00 to 5:00 PM.
Taking out books will be for seven days and can be renewed another seven days. In case of loss or destruction, the student will have to replace the book with the same copy.

Estamos creciendo

Este curso tenemos 589 alumnos matriculados, 231 son de Infantil y 358 de Primaria. En total son 54 más que el curso pasado (14 más en Infantil y 40 más en Primaria)
Tenemos 9 clases en Infantil y 15 en Primaria (una más que el curso anterior).

También tenemos más profesores: un profesor tutor , una profesora especialista en Pedagogía Terapéutica y una profesora de compensatoria compartida con otro colegio, además la profesora de Audición y Lenguaje estará en nuestro colegio a tiempo completo. Tenemos una plantilla de 41 profesores y 5 auxiliares de conversación.

Como veis estamos creciendo y vamos hacía línea tres, o sea, tres clases por nivel.

Han empezado las clases de natación

Durante este trimestre los alumnos de sexto irán todos los jueves en la hora de Educación Física al polideportivo "Jesús Rollán" para dar las clases de natación con monitores especializados.
